Early Pay - AACU Early Pay FAQs

Early Pay can make direct deposit funds available up to two business days before the scheduled payment date at AACU. Exact timing depends on when the payor sends payment instructions, so early availability isn't guaranteed every cycle. Check your eligibility and set up direct deposit to get started.

No separate enrollment is required, since Early Pay activates automatically once you set up direct deposit into an AACU checking or savings account. Members already using direct deposit are already enrolled. Review Cash Back Checking if you're opening a new account for direct deposit.

Early Pay is completely free at AACU, with no fees or enrollment paperwork required beyond setting up direct deposit. The feature comes standard with any qualifying checking or savings account. Compare Cash Back Rewards Checking if you're choosing a new account.

Early Pay applies to most ACH credit transactions, including payroll deposits from employers as well as other recurring electronic payments. Availability depends on AACU receiving payment instructions from the payor ahead of the scheduled date. Check your eligibility before setting up direct deposit.

Yes, Early Pay applies to direct deposits made into either a checking or savings account at AACU, not just checking. Members can choose which account receives their early-arriving funds. Review Primary Savings if you'd rather direct deposit into savings.

Disclosures

1 Early Pay is only available to members with an AACU checking or savings account and have direct deposit set up with their employer or other payer to receive electronic payment during regular periodic payment cycles. At our discretion, we may make the funds for certain ACH credit transactions, including most payroll deposits, available to you before the ACH deposit's scheduled payment date up to 2 business days earlier. The date that funds are made available to you will be reflected in your applicable account's transaction history. Whether or not funds are made available early and exactly when the funds are made available depend on when we receive the payment instructions from the ACH payor and are subject to fraud prevention measures and other applicable restrictions. We do not guarantee that funds will be made available early or that funds will be made available by any specific time of day. Any funds that we don't make available early will be made available according to our Funds Availability Agreement.
