Visa Debit Card - AACU Visa Debit Card FAQs

New AACU Visa Debit Cards activate through online banking, the mobile app, or by calling the number on the card's activation sticker. Members converting from the previous Mastercard should destroy the old card once the new one is active. Check your eligibility if you don't yet have an AACU checking account.

Your Visa Debit Card adds to Apple Pay™, Google Wallet™, or Samsung Pay™ in a few minutes through your phone's wallet app. Card information stays encrypted and isn't stored directly on the device. Review Cash Back Rewards Checking if you're opening a new account to pair with your card.

AACU switched debit card providers from Mastercard to Visa, retiring the previous Debit Mastercard and issuing new Visa-branded cards with updated designs and card controls. Members needed to activate the new card and update any automatic payments tied to the old number. Check your eligibility if you're opening your first AACU account.
Lock your card instantly through online or mobile banking, or call AACU directly to report a lost or stolen Visa Debit Card.
