Young Artist Award - AACU Young Artist Award FAQs

Students in kindergarten through 12th grade qualify if they attend a participating school district, are an AACU member, or have a parent who is an AACU member. Check your eligibility for AACU membership if needed before entering.

AACU has supported the arts in local school districts for over thirty years, awarding hundreds of thousands of dollars total through its Art Scholarship Program before this award's expansion. Check your eligibility for AACU membership to support future rounds.

Winners are notified directly by email using the address provided on their original application, and winning artwork is featured directly on the AACU website afterward. Review AAFCU Foundation for other ways the Foundation supports students.
