Coffee. Groceries. Gas. The everyday purchases you're already making help you build your savings or support a cause that matters.
With Round Up, each qualifying debit card purchase is rounded up to the next whole dollar. The difference is automatically transferred from your enrolled checking account to a savings account you choose or donated to the Children's Hospital Colorado Foundation.
Getting started takes just a few steps.

You decide what your Round Ups can help you do.

Put a little aside as you go, without adding another transfer to your to-do list.
Send your Round Ups to an eligible AACU savings account, and your everyday purchases can help you steadily build toward whatever comes next.
If your Round Ups averaged $0.50 per qualifying purchase, here's one example of how they could add up:
Examples for illustrative purposes only. Actual Round Up transfers will vary based on qualifying purchase activity and transaction amounts.

Debit Card Round-Up Charitable Giving Program Disclosure
By enrolling in the Debit Card Round-Up Charitable Giving Program ("Program"), you authorize Air Academy Federal Credit Union, DBA Air Academy Credit Union ("AACU") to round up the amount of each eligible debit card purchase to the next whole dollar and transfer the difference from your designated account for donation to the selected charitable recipient of your choice. How the Program Works
For each eligible debit card transaction, AACU will calculate the difference between the purchase amount and the next whole dollar. The rounded-up amount will be withdrawn from your designated account and recorded for charitable donation purposes. For example, a purchase of $4.25 would result in a round-up donation of $0.75. Only completed and posted debit card transactions are eligible for participation in the Program. AACU reserves the right to determine transaction eligibility and to exclude certain transaction types from the Program.Custody and Remittance of Funds
Round-up amounts collected through the Program will be held by AACU and periodically remitted to the charitable recipient. AACU will remit collected funds no less frequently than annually and may remit funds more frequently at its discretion. All donations collected through the Program are intended for the charitable recipient and will not be returned to participating members except as required by law or in the event of a processing error.Irrevocable Donations
Once a round-up donation has been collected through the Program, the donation is irrevocable and shall not be refunded, reversed, credited, or otherwise returned to the participating member except in the case of a processing error, unauthorized transaction, or as otherwise required by applicable law. A member's termination of participation in the Program will not affect the disposition of round-up donations collected prior to the effective date of such termination. No Individual Charitable Tax Receipt
AACU will aggregate member round-up donations prior to remittance to the charitable recipient. Unless otherwise specifically provided by AACU or the charitable recipient, participants should not expect to receive an individual charitable contribution receipt from AACU and the Children's Hospital Colorado Foundation for each round-up donation. Round-up amounts will be reflected on member account statements and/or other account records made available by AACU. Members may use these records to calculate and document their aggregate Program contributions for their own recordkeeping and tax reporting purposes. AACU and the Children's Hospital Colorado Foundation do not provide tax advice, and members should consult their tax advisor regarding the deductibility of any charitable contribution.Reporting and Transparency
AACU will maintain records sufficient to substantiate the aggregate amounts collected and remitted through the Program and will make such information available to regulators and independent auditors as required by applicable law. Members may review individual round-up transactions through their account statements and other account records made available by AACU. AACU will publish the aggregate amount collected and remitted through the Program in its Annual Report. The Annual Report is made available to AACU members at no charge each year, typically in March.Verification of Donations
The aggregate amount of donations remitted through the Program will be reported in AACU's Annual Report. AACU's books, records, and system records regarding Program transactions, collections, and remittances shall control in the event of any discrepancy between member estimates, account records, aggregate Program totals, or amounts reported in the Annual Report.Errors
Members should promptly notify AACU of any suspected error relating to a round-up amount. AACU reserves the right to correct any calculation, posting, or processing error associated with the Program, including adjustments to previously collected round-up amounts where appropriate.Affiliation and Administration of Program
The Debit Card Round-Up Charitable Giving Program is administered solely by AACU. The charitable recipient is not responsible for the administration, operation, enrollment, transaction processing, recordkeeping, collection, custody, or remittance of Program donations. Any questions regarding Program participation, account transactions, round-up calculations, account records, or Program administration should be directed to AACU. Except as may be expressly disclosed by AACU, participation in the Program does not create any membership, donor, contractual, agency, fiduciary, partnership, joint venture, or other relationship between participating members and the charitable recipient. AACU's use of the name, logo, trademarks, and other identifying marks of the charitable recipient is pursuant to authorization granted by the charitable recipient. Such use does not constitute an endorsement of AACU, its products, services, or business practices by the charitable recipient.Program Changes or Termination
AACU reserves the right to modify, suspend, replace, or terminate the Program at any time. AACU may change the charitable recipient, eligibility requirements, transaction qualifications, or other Program terms upon providing any notice required by applicable law. Any round-up funds collected prior to modification or termination of the Program may be remitted to the charitable recipient designated at the time the donations were collected.Voluntary Participation
Participation in the Program is voluntary. Members may enroll in or discontinue participation in the Program at any time using channels designated by AACU. Termination of participation will apply prospectively and will not affect round-up amounts previously collected before the effective date of termination.Limitation of Liability
AACU shall not be liable for delays in processing, remitting, reporting, or administering donations resulting from system interruptions, operational issues, circumstances beyond AACU's reasonable control, regulatory requirements, acts of third parties, or other events outside AACU's reasonable control, provided AACU exercises commercially reasonable efforts to administer the Program in accordance with these terms.
